I am the girl
I am the girl
Who life has
Twisted my hair,
Once the wind blew hard,
And grabbed me from those stars,
Woke up begging among the cars,
I am the innocent girl,
Whose voice can stroke your ear,
Whose eyes penetrate this city's air,
My hand stretched for a penny,
My feeble feet dragged on the street,
Am I begging for love or money?
I am the poor girl,
Whose mother in bed,
Whose father in hell,
Why am I here?
A girl's body is supposed to be near
Her beloved dear,
I am the beggar girl,
Whose skin is dark and dry,
Who dares to care?
That car glitters
In that, a man smiling,
It can be the star I am expecting,
Moving towards him,
Stretched my hand,
But him didn't even glance at me,
The traffic lights turned green,
Cars screamd,
And I was reminded of my bare feet.
Who life has
Twisted my hair,
Once the wind blew hard,
And grabbed me from those stars,
Woke up begging among the cars,
I am the innocent girl,
Whose voice can stroke your ear,
Whose eyes penetrate this city's air,
My hand stretched for a penny,
My feeble feet dragged on the street,
Am I begging for love or money?
I am the poor girl,
Whose mother in bed,
Whose father in hell,
Why am I here?
A girl's body is supposed to be near
Her beloved dear,
I am the beggar girl,
Whose skin is dark and dry,
Who dares to care?
That car glitters
In that, a man smiling,
It can be the star I am expecting,
Moving towards him,
Stretched my hand,
But him didn't even glance at me,
The traffic lights turned green,
Cars screamd,
And I was reminded of my bare feet.
